My wife has been wanting to try this spot since we just moved to the area. Its always packed when we pass by so we were a bit intimidated but last night, we got there around 7pm and it wasn't too bad. We got seated right away and I got the pho with tai and nam. It was pretty good but the broth is a little sweet for my liking. I think its funny that they have a robot cat bringing out the food. Doesn't make too much sense for me since a worker still has to follow it around. Everyone working here was very nice and very attentive. The veggie eggrolls were so good but so greasy!

Always drove past this place and saw how crowded it was so we finally tried it out for dinner tonight. Pretty packed house on Friday around 7pm - luckily for us though we got seated right away and didn't have to wait. I got the broken rice with beef & my husband got pho and some eggrolls. I enjoyed my dish & my husband enjoyed his too. He did mention that his broth was a little sweet, which I do agree. The eggrolls were good but so so greasy! Service was good, a little all over the place but good. My kid was obsessed with that cat robot they have, pretty cool

Tried this place even though the health grade was a B..... Negatives: -Health grade, this is a B though we didn't notice anything too wrong with it. -Value, for what we got the prices were a little high. We paid $23 for the appetizer plate, and my wife's pork with tofu broken rice combination was $17. At other places we would have gotten two pork chops for that price. -Taste, this one was a hit/miss since we got multiple items to try. The fish cake tofu was a little over fried and too peppery. The egg rolls and shrimp rolls had good taste, but were too oily. Positives: -Service, service was quick and responsive. They had a cool robot too. -taste, the pork chop was decent and the spring rolls were good. Ambiance was authentically Vietnamese. Overall 3.5/5 yelp will round up to 4/5. We will be willing to give this place a second chance, mainly because we haven't tried their main dish "pho."

This pho place is def a staple for me! It's just always consistently good and I love the variety of food options available for vegans and non-vegans! I really enjoy the bun hoi here, they provide 7 sheets of flat noodles, lettuce and cilantro on the side along with protein (chicken, my pref), fish sauce, and pickled carrots. It's the perfect amount for a light dinner and what I get when I don't know what I'm craving. The restaurant is always popping, but thankfully I haven't experienced a wait yet!

FIRST visit: Amazing hits-the-spot pho noodle soup in to-go order FARES feasted on:   === Pho Dac Biet   === Pho Tai * FRIENDLY service: N/A * FRESH air seating outside?  N/A * FAIR pricing: Yes * FEE processing: None. Accepts credit cards * FREE parking: Yes, plaza lot * FYI: We had this pho after a long day and not only was it well-packed, but that broth really hit the spot! One tip is that for take out, one should probably order the meat cooked (vs. raw) b/c by the time the order arrives, broth is not scalding hot to thoroughly cook the sliced meats (we had to pop ours over the stove to do so) FOUR stars ****

Casual and delicious! I ventured here on a hot summer day with my family. Having come from Sacramento, we have a high bar for Vietnamese restaurants. The quality of food here definitely rivals some of the restaurants I enjoy back home. We enjoyed the Banh Mi Chao (a seasonal offering) and the Pho Dac Biet (not pictured). The food was good but I wish we had more herbs to accompany our dishes. My favorite part of Vietnamese food is always the side of quality herbs. The restaurant was busy with in-person diners and to-go orders. There was a bit of a wait after submitting our order, but it was fun to watch a robot deliver our food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a casual Vietnamese eatery in Chino Hills!
